Romantic Death

No wonder life is too short. It is still shorter for me. And I've no regret for being gifted with the same. Death may come to me anytime unsure of its due date. I am not afraid to die but fear that I may not finish what I have to say to my dear friends...? Sometimes I think a small chit under the pillow on my dying bed would clear all clouds of doubt. Other times I feel that it would be so far from my very own presence that they may not satisfy with it. Here I am really confused not knowing what to do knowing though nothing could be understand me my friends! I am sorry if I have done wrong to you all. Though I don't have any bad feelings for you all I can't promise that I didn't hurt you. You know I can't do anything good for you all but I am me and will be me-stupid Ugyen. Don't let me find you all sad because of me you know I can’t bear to see the same.
Give me a romantic death with all surrounding my dying bed overwhelmed with tears of love flooding down through rosy cheeks...
I won’t regret if death comes with cruel affection, I would rather love to die on your side with a smiling face, tears of happiness in my eyes and hands holding with my loved ones hand with pang of separation in heart.
I know few of my friends would mourn for me, few would visit my graveyard, yet few would still see grass growing...I know my dear ones would always be by my side...
Do I have any reason to cry when I am all surrounded by happy people...?
And I too wouldn't love to see anybody around me with frowning face...

My DEAR...I always dream't of happy death and that would be fulfilled today when I sleep on your tender lap watching your jocund face....and never to see you again...A Romantic Death!

As the day swallowed by the dazzling sunset colors
The evening blanketed with beautiful light of darkness
I came out of the doomed room to the balcony
There was an inexplicable excitement within me
As I open up my inner eye to embrace the beauty
That appealed to my ordinary senses.

Cool autumn breeze blew over the city of joy
As I wander solitary through the crowded street.
Birds flew across the westward yellow sky for sleep.
Pedestrians walked in frenzied strides of multiple paces.
Lovers crisscrossed their shadows over the moonlight.

The dark beautiful night was over ruled by reflections.
The lights in the distance mingled with the night stars
And sweet chirps were heard of the unseen insects.
Buzzing murmurs of distant silent rivers echoed aloud
A crescent moon dominated the starry night.
It was full moon night and that was gorgeous!

I wonder how many full moons I’ll be seeing before I die
And watch the moon with my beloved ones.
To watch the full moon together with someone
In such a beauteous night is very special for me
Because watching alone that night wasn’t romantic at all!

A Tribute to Royal Wedding

The October sun beamed down to the nation
Rainbows spread across the azure sky
Clouds crafted like a royal wedding ring
Drukyul fully drowned in emotion
Drukpas cheered with the rhythm of joy
Gust of happiness rushed through my being

Nation joined to a single aspiration
To celebrate the prophesied royal wedding
The day sanctified by the almighty
Enriched with his profound blessing
The day visualized by majesty
And my nation rejoiced with veneration

It’s the momentous royal wedding day
Country was gladden and thrilled
Thousands upon thousands gathered
Prepared to endure the vigour of occasion
Determined to witness the whole procession
My heart was engrossed with blissful ray

 Nation assembled in thousands
Tiresome task buried under celebration mood
A day never perceived before
The moment Bhutan had waited for
Air scented with the aroma of sandal wood
It’s the noble wedding I’d seen once

People cherish with one nation
Waved the Tashi khaders of harmony
Folk dances echoed across the nation
It’s the royal wedding ceremony
His majesty and the queen on wedding attire
My nation’s all time desire

It’s the history royal wedding day
Nation dedicated to the Tsa-wa-sum
An occasion that unfurled peace and prosperity
A promise to nation’s philosophy
‘Gross national happiness’
